RIFFE American Square Notch Spearshafts are made with spring stainless steel and heat treated to increase strength and flexibility of shaft memory. Manufactured using computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines, producing precision parts.

Smooth finish capable of holding 1 to 2 power bands per Shark Fin loading tab
Smaller RIFFE shafts 50" and below feature (2) Shark Fin loading tabs
Shafts 55" and over feature (3) Shark Fin loading tabs
All shaft machined areas are hand finished.
Rest tab may be added for easier loading (Generally added to 60" and longer shafts) 12" up from loading end

Spear shafts are made with spring stainless steel, heat treated to increase hardness and prevent bending.

Manufactured with shark-fin tabs - shark fin tab hole will take 400Lb Monofilament line. These shafts are designed for American Mechanisms and will also fit other brands such as: Daryl Wong Spearguns®, Alexander®, Riffe® and more.

Got the shaft in record time…

I needed a replacement shaft for a big JBL bluewater gun. I’m old and high maintenance so of course I needed a rest tab on the thing. Once again Natalie stepped up and said, “I got you.” Shaft was a special order that went in on a Saturday. I think I picked the thing up on Tuesday and went to murder innocent sea creatures the following day. Once again, what inevitably woulda been a shitshow ordering online was easier and cheaper at Blue Tuna… thanks for being rad.
