Great experience with Freediver 1 course

Highly recommend the freediver 1 course to anybody who wants to dive deeper and safer. Girey is an amazing instructor and he and Matt with BTS were super accommodating with changes in the weather.
The first day we spent a few hours in class and then went to the pool for some drills. We practiced rescuing each other at various stages of blacking out and how to identify the warning signs. After some breathing exercises I actually doubled my static breath hold.
2nd day we took a boat out to the islands for our open water session where we dove on a line and worked on technique. Overall I came out of the course a more competent freediver and a better dive buddy.
