I have one of the Blue Tuna 1st generation 7mm suit’s that’s still completely functional after four years and probably 500 dives on it, but with a warm winter, I followed Natalie’s advice and picked up the latest generation 5mm. It’s a far more supple, flexible suit than the other 5mm freedive suits I’ve used and a good bit more comfortable. Don’t reckon I’ll ever use the knife pocket for a cutting tool but it works well for shoving trash and monofilament you find on the reef. The only thing about this was I wear an XL in literally every other surf, free dive and scuba suit since I was 14, I’m a XXL in this… which was a frankly great catch by BTS staff as the XXL is perfect.
