Rob Allen Impact Spears are designed to fit all Euro gun mechanisms. Engineered from ultra tough oil-quenched Carbon alloy spring steel they are tempered to 2100Mpa. Tri-cut tips ensure excellent penetration while the rocktip is designed for close quarter reef fish hunting. 270 degree polished wishbone notches and polished line holes (available in both single & double notch configurations) ensure minimum wear. Each spear is mechanically decoiled from the heat treated bulk roll and hand straightened and quality checked before machining. Quatro Phase coating ensures corrosion protection four to five times better than conventional Electrogalvanising.

Rob Allen flopper shaft

Been using Robb Allen shafts on all my euro pipe guns since day one! I can’t stress how good of a shaft they are! easy to resharpen decently rust resistant and darn tuff used them in 90 110 and a 130 in both 7 and 7.5 mm thickness depending on the set up both roller and standard…. Also if a flopper is on the top side of a shaft I have never had good luck with the flopper deployment so that’s a huge reason why I stay with Robb Allen shafts and hell used them on striped bass fluke mahi ahi Ono uku and never once bent it only bent one when I hit an ulua back a bit from the money maker and the fish hit every piece of coral and rock on the bottom for 100 feet till I could put the brakes on um to stop the line from chafing and for the price u may as well order 2!!

Needs a few tweaks, to make it userb friendly ?!?

With my age and inexperience, I can suggest a few comments that would have made it more user friendly like, like a loading tab, tabs instead of slits to receive the band, and a top tab (with a hole drilled through it for the line, as the line gets sorts of jammed in the rail when loading)! These features are standard on my son’s speargun.

Love my Rob Allens

Always appreciate the good service, impressive selection, and low prices at Blue Tuna Spearfishing. I often find it worth it to make the drive down from Santa Barbara to buy gear from Matt, as he runs a stand-up operation and is a good guy.
