Use a shark fin shaft...break less wishbones & bend less shafts. Manufactures save money by cutting a notch into the shaft...but where they cut becomes a weak point for the fish to bend the shaft. The notched shafts also require more expensive articulated stainless wishbones for replacement.

The Shark Fin shafts allow you to use American Style spectra wishbone bands. We prefer to use spectra because they are safer, less expensive and easy to replace.

The profile of the shark fins is thin with the end resulting in better hydrodynamics and penetration through the fish. Loading the wishbones is easier and safer as well. Each shark fin has a hole so the diver can choose which hole to attach the shooting line on.
