We are proud to announce a next level carbon fiber freedive spearfishing fin! Meet the Hydro 4x Carbon Blades. They're feather light and high performance freediving blades! New shark skin finish, and 4x4 carbon fabric (vs. 2x2) to increase energy transfer. The blade length is 81 cm with a 22 degree angle, which I find to be the best propulsion without sacrificing maneuverability.
The 22 degree angle have better ergonomics, making kicking more natural and comfortable! The 22 degree angle blade will break the surface more easily, making surface kicking more comfortable and optimizing the power of the push through the water relative to effort.
The new concave water rail is designed to displace more water per kick for better thrust. So you use less energy per kick to propel through the water faster, covering greater distance in less time, using less oxygen. These fins are buttery smooth to kick, excellent for getting to depth faster and easy to pivot for spearfishing.
We guarantee everything we make. If you are not satisfied with one of our products at the time you receive it, or if one of our products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it to the store you bought it from or to Blue Tuna Spearfishing for repair, replacement or refund. Damage due to wear and tear will be repaired at a reasonable charge. Warranty invalid if damage caused by misuse (ie - jumping off boat with direct water impact, hitting propeller with fins, kicking off bottom in shallows).
These will mount to all the top companies footpockets. The footpocket tendon, for brands like OMER, Riffe, Mares Razor, Salvimar, Hammerhead and more can easily attach to the rubber t-rail. You don't have to deal with a frustrating gluing process, unless you want to. These will also work with OMER Stingray Shorts, Pathos, Mares Razor and Beuchat with slight modifications (shave off a portion of the rail that overlaps the fin tendon, glue instead of drill and use mounting hardware).
When blades only are ordered, they do not have pre-drilled holes, so you can match them up to your footpockets.
It's time to step up your freediving & step into the Hydro 4x Carbon Fins!

Please note that Freediving and spearfishing are inherently dangerous sports and should only be undertaken by experienced, well-trained divers. More powerful spearguns must be fired with two hands and a locked elbow to prevent injury from excess recoil. Do not load or unload your speargun out of the water, treat every speargun as if it were loaded. Never point your speargun at anything you do not intend to shoot. Before you begin your dive, be sure to check all your gear. You should never dive alone and your equipment should be serviced regularly. You should always plan your dive and dive your plan. You should discuss safety precautions, your plan, and contingency plans with everyone onboard BEFORE you dive. Communication among divers and operators is imperative. Failure to adhere to these guidelines could potentially result in physical harm or death. Blue Tuna Spearfishing is not responsible for any loss, damage, harm, or death caused by using any of our products.
